Mole Valley District surgery and Clarion Estate Day
By popular demand, Clarion Housing and your MVDC ward councillors have decided to organise a
joint event on July 31st 10:30 - 15:30 in Perrylands. The local police unit has accepted our invitation
and will be present as well. We are still working on other organisations to join us on the day.
SCC councillor Helyn Clack has already written about the reorganisation of local government in a
previous issue but until we have established Unitary Councils we have to deal with the different
responsibilities of District and County.

I will bring a few copies on the day for those with no access to a computer.
There has been some progress to reduce the risk of ßooding in Willow Corner. We have worked with
Clarion and a plan has been put forward by them. One storm drain has already been cleared and
deepened and there are solid plans for another to be dug to deal with the runoff of the Þeld to the
east of the estate. We will be able to give you the latest news on that as well.
We hope to see many of you at some point during the day to get to know each other, answer your
questions and listen to your concerns.
