Charlwood Parish Hall
The Parish Hall, at 92 The Street, Charlwood, was built in 1852 as a girls school run by the church authorities.
The attached cottage to the rear of the hall was the residence of the Head Mistress. The original beautiful classic
Gothic architecture has been extended over the years to the building we see today.
With a fully functional kitchen, disabled facilities, tables, and seating
for up to 80 people and even room to put up a bouncy castle, the
Parish Hall makes an ideal venue for any occasion whether it is a
children’s party, meetings, dance classes, or wedding reception.
A separate, moderately sized room, with a serving counter, is ideal for
break-out sessions or a smaller meeting. With a raised stage, the
Parish Hall is a perfect venue for music, plays, or drama productions.
Recent events have included musicians from Ireland, Charlwood Singers, and Farnham Maltings. There is parking
for approximately 10 vehicles at the front of the building.
