CHARLWOOD SPORTS & COMMUNITY CENTRE
The Charlwood Sports & Community Pavilion is located on
the Recreation Ground in the middle of Charlwood village.
Built in 2016, it is a modern, bright and welcoming facility,
perfect for a variety of functions and gatherings. The football team (in winter) and cricket team (in summer), use the
Clubroom, during and after their games, alongside the
spacious and well-appointed changing rooms. The Club room can accommodate parties, of up to 50
guests. We Þnd that hirers particularly appreciate the opportunity to use the bifold doors to spill out
onto the veranda and recreation ground. The well-appointed Clubroom has a fully Þtted kitchen with
cooker, fridge, microwave, urn and a good supply of crockery and glasses. Chairs and tables are available
to accommodate any function or meeting, from training courses, committee meetings, Þtness classes,
coffee mornings, afternoon teas or of course adult and children’s parties.
Hire fees start at £17 per hour and enquiries can be made to
bookings@charlwoodparishcouncil.gov.uk
We currently have lots of availability for evening bookings. So, if you need a space for your
committee meeting, exercise class or celebration, please get in touch to discuss how we can help.
Hookwood Memorial Hall is situated in The Withey (off Reigate Road), Hookwood.
We are a community hall independently run by volunteers. All proÞts are reinvested back into our facilities. We
have a large main hall, which is perfect for dance groups, sports clubs, meetings, band practice, parties, weddings
etc. We also have a conference room which is perfect for meetings or for use in conjunction with the main hall.
The hall has a large car park, BBQ area with outdoor lawn, large kitchen with cooking facilities, Air Conditioning
in the main hall and conference room, free Wi-Fi, table and chairs included, disabled access, and male, female,
and disabled toilets.
Next to the hall is a large green area and children’s playground and both these are available to use, however
these are public areas and not exclusive use by the hall.
